Lucy Johnston is a 12-year-old co-author of The Black Rose, and probably one of the kindest and funniest people you’ll ever meet (ask anyone who knows her). She’s always ready with a joke, a brilliant idea, or a moment of unexpected genius — especially when it comes to math.
Lucy’s writing journey began on a camping trip, where she and Vardeni discovered they both loved creating stories. The rest is history (and mystery). When she’s not co-writing fantasy novels, Lucy is busy being amazing at basically everything — though she’d never admit it.
Her secret talents? Making people laugh, making hard things look easy, and somehow always being the coolest without even trying.
